A calm, considered Pilates practice
Small-group reformer classes, private sessions and a four-week course for complete beginners — taught slowly, in a studio built for quiet.
Our approach
Strength that arrives quietly
Lumen was built around a simple idea: that the most effective practice is the one you can return to for years. We teach the fundamentals properly, keep the rooms small, and let progress happen at the pace bodies actually move.
Whether you have never touched a reformer or you have been practising for a decade, you will be met where you are — and given something to work toward.

What we teach
Three ways to practise
Every format is taught by the same team, in the same room, with the same attention.
Small groups, always
Ten reformers, never more. Every class is capped so your instructor can actually see you.
Unhurried teaching
We would rather do six repetitions well than twenty badly. Precision over intensity, every time.
A studio that stays calm
No mirrors, no leaderboards, no thumping playlist. Just natural light and room to think.

In their words
What members say
“I have tried a lot of studios and this is the first one that feels calm rather than competitive. I leave every class feeling looked after.”
“Theo rebuilt my confidence after a back injury. Six months in and I am doing things my physio said would take a year.”
“The Foundations course was exactly what I needed. Nobody made me feel like the slowest person in the room.”
